DESCRIPTION:The WFLA would like to place on record their thanks to Hedley Austin who has resigned as Chairman of the organisation. Hedley has recognised that it is difficult for him to commit sufficient time to the role and will concentrate his efforts on walking football matters closer to home. \nHedley has offered good advice to the other committee members during his tenure which has enabled the WFLA to develop and grow. Following the recent successful events at Redditch the WFLA faces exciting times and is actively seeking new members for the committee and there will be more news on this very soon. \nUntil the AGM in September Tony Norton will be acting Chairman. The whole of the WFLA would like to wish Hedley all the best with his future ventures and look forward to maintaining contact with him as a representative for the walking football leagues operating in Wales.
