We have a well-established and thriving Walking football scene here at AFC R&D and we invite you to join. Potential players must be aged over 50 or over. Our sessions run on Monday evening between 7:30pm and 9:00pm all year round on outdoor 3G pitches. ) The sessions cost just £3.00, there is no need to book or email, you can just turn up on the night and join in. You will be assured of a warm welcome. We think that WF will appeal to those looking to keep active, whether they have any previous experience of playing football or not. You will need to wear appropriate clothing for the weather, a pair of trainers and shin pads. It is important that you stay properly hydrated so bring along a drink and you’re good to go.

We see this as very much a social activity, players are welcome to come along every week or just now and again, whatever suits them.
