  • Attended by 25 participants
  • Collection and drop off via minibus
  • Played walking football
  • Supervised by National Walking Football Alliance specialist coaches
  • Lunch provided
  • All first aid and defibrillator present
  • Working in conjunction with the carers from one of our local charities called skills for people

Social Value Impact: £61,453.03

What those that played had to say about our games:

  • The staff are very nice and I love coming here”
  • “I wish there was leagues for us to play in”
  • “Skills for People help me in a good way”
  • “I find it great!”
  • “really down to earth coaches- some coaches can really focus more on training rather than playing football- this was more fun”
  • “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed coming- I’ll definitely be back next year if it’s on”
  • A support worker told us “[the person I support] looks forward to it, not just on the day but through the week- it can be hard to motivate him for other things but this is something he loves to do. He really looks forward to seeing everyone.”
