Rebooted scheme to rehome and repurpose football boots
Rebooted scheme to help people and the planet simultaneously
Although a necessity to play, it’s not uncommon for football boots to have a short lifespan with the original owner.
Players replace boots for the latest design, different colour, or latest release. Whereas children and teenagers who experience growth spurts in short periods need to size up.
The purpose of the Rebooted Scheme is to ensure that no matter the origin, good-quality football boots don’t wind up in the bin.
The goal
The Rebooted Scheme exists to encourage and distribute donations to anyone who needs them, as the expense of football boots is an obstacle that may prevent people from playing. It makes the game more accessible, ensures players have the appropriate footwear, and repurposes boots that would have otherwise been thrown away.
Join the Rebooted Scheme
Anyone with spare quality boots can send them in via a free environmentally-friendly post bag.
To donate or have us source a pair of boots for you please email info@nwfa.co.uk or submit a form here.
Together, we will make sure that boots end up back on the pitch rather than landfill.
